Me & My Peeps

The journey to Fun Rich Mom Life

I like to have me some fun!

How about you?

First things first, if we run into each other in a grocery line checkout, you're going to hear a cheesy joke from me and my girls.  It's just our thing.  We like to share the funnies and make people smile.

I'll admit, not every one of them is a winner, but I'm definitely of the mindset that even if you crack a side-lip curl, that's a win!

Meet My Hottie!

AKA Hunk-o-hunk-o-burnin'-love

AKA Andrew

I have to shout out to this amazing man that I get to do life with.

Having been friends first, Andrew got to know me without any of the preening we tend to do when we have the hots for someone.

And wouldn't you know it, the man of my dreams was right in front of my face.  If he still wanted to marry me even after he smelled the bathroom after some bad beans, who could turn that knight in shining armor away??

We've been working on our love story ever since.

My Babies

AKA 2 Pieces of my heart walking the earth

Growing up, I always knew I'd have kids someday.  I never knew it was going to be as challenging as it was.

As an older bride, we hit the ground running, (perhaps I should say, hit the bed bouncing...) in the quest to have babies.

After years of trying and tests of every kind, the road to Mama-hood eventually landed at a fertility clinic and pregnancy by in-vitro.

We wanted 2 (you can't play Pictionary with only 3 people #goals), so it was pretty much 2 years in a row of being pregnant and throwing up.

And they are worth every stinkin' moment of heartbreak and toilet hugging.

The Podcast

AKA Hanging with my besties!

There is nothing that can prepare you for becoming a Mom.

Logically, I knew what the job meant.  In reality, it was like an emotional slap in the face.

Nothing fulfilled my soul like these amazing little babies did, and... I somehow found myself mastering the art of being a Mom-ster.

I felt lost, lonely and I really didn't like myself.  Who was this person? Where had the cool chick that I used to be gone?  I wanted her back.  I wanted my kids to know her.

I reached back to my coaching days and got to work on myself and get my playful back and my smile on.

This set me on a mission to help other Mama's rediscover all those amazing parts of themselves that sometimes get lost in the chaos of Mom-life.
